Cherry Blaze MCT is extracted from the cannabis leaf in a mixture of medium-chain triglycerides to provide a full complement of skin care effects. Our Cherry Blaze MCT comes from a captivating strain known as Cherry Blossom, which is an indica-dominant hybrid with roughly a 30:70 sativa/indica ratio. Although the genetics of this strain have not been fully elucidated, it is widely believed to have come from a crossbreeding of Berry Blossom, Cherry Pie and Harle Tsu. The cannabinoids found in these strains makes Cherry Blossom particularly useful for skin care applications. Cannabinoids are potent anti-inflammatories, and have the ability to treat a variety of skin ailments such as psoriasis, eczema, acne and rosacea. That is not the only efficacy, however, as cannabinoids are also very effective anti-oxidants.
